In Dungeons & Dragons, players take control of characters in an adventuring party who explore fantasy worlds together embarking on epic quests and more powerful skills and spells in the process.
One player takes on the role of the Dungeon Master (also known as the DM) who is tasked with guiding the party through their adventure, setting the scene and throwing challenges in the adventurers way. There’s no winning or losing in D&D—at least, not in the conventional way.
