Pokémon TCG is a strategy-based collectible card game where players build a 60-card deck to battle other players. It is based on the popular video game series and involves two players taking on the role of Pokémon Trainers, using Pokémon cards to knock out their opponent's Pokémon. The game can be played with physical cards or digitally through apps like Pokémon TCG Live and Pokémon TCG Pocket.

How it works

  • Gameplay:

Players take turns playing cards, including basic Pokémon, energy, and trainer cards, to attack their opponent's Pokémon.

  • Winning:

A player wins by being the first to either take all six of their Prize cards or knock out all of their opponent's Pokémon.

  • Collecting and trading:

The game is also a collectible hobby, and players can trade cards with each other to complete their collections.

  • Deck building:

Each player creates a 60-card deck made of of their favourite pokemon. Players can then enter their decks into events such as League tournaments to win prizes.
