Local clubs
We're dedicated to supporting the local clubs in our area by providing a dedicated venue for them to host their meets.
Below is a list of the clubs currently affiliated with Dark FIre Cafe. Each club is autonomous and provides their own platform for organising games and events, we then provide the venue and offer assistance in promoting their club.
St Albans Wargamers
One of the biggest tabletop war gaming clubs in the home counties!

St Albans Wargamers hold meets every Thursday evening at Dark Fire Cafe from 6pm, as well as organising additional weekend events such as tournaments and large scale games.

Friday Night Magic
St Albans Friday Night Magic is now at Dark Fire Cafe!

Board Game Socials
Dark Fire Cafes first internal club!

Every Wednesday join us from 6pm for unlimited access to our board games in the library for the discounted rate of £4 .

Bring a friend or come on your own and we'll discover a new game and make new meet new people. There's no need to book but try to arrive as close to 6pm as possible and let us know if you plan on arriving later.

We want provide a space for tabletop gaming clubs of all genres in our gaming cafe. RPGs, CCGs, Miniature or board games all are welcome!
As a dedicated gaming venue and store we attract both new and experienced customers from all around, and by using our venue we can direct potential new members into all of our affiliated clubs.
